Named for William Mote, the namesake of Mote Marine Laboratory and Oceanographic Center, Mote Ranch sits on the Braden River in southeast Manatee County. Our community is just minutes from challenging golf courses, sophisticated shopping, the arts and culture of downtown Sarasota, the SRQ airport, hospitals, world famous white sand beaches and the Gulf of Mexico. Our community features lush landscaped neighborhood entrances, a beautifully landscaped entrance – Old Farm Road – acres of preserved conservation areas, lakes, a dock and kayak launch at Braden River, fishing area, plenty of sidewalks for walking, a family friendly recreation center with a playground and large heated swimming pool.The community consists of ten subdivisions. Mote Ranch development started in 1988 and all the homes were built from 1990 to 2004.
